You're the believing Bee! Just when others say it can't be done, you prove them wrong. Your sweet purpose in life is to help others trust that miracles can and do happen. Wherever you go, abundance seems to follow.

    Bee Symbolism & Meaning

When Bee appears in your life the most common message it carries has to do with your levels of productivity. In some cases we are doing too much, and in others not enough. Bee spirit has a strong work ethic but it also knows the importance of stopping and smelling the flowers. There is a time to enjoy life’s nectar and a time to grab after the proverbial brass ring with vehemence. Bee helps with both, and in finding the delicate balance between the two.

Technically speaking Bee should not be able to fly – it’s designed all wrong aerodynamically. From a spiritual perspective this speaks of our limitations and how to move past them successfully. It’s doubtful that Bee knows it shouldn’t fly – it simply DOES, and so can you.

Bee fits a very specific role in nature pollinating other plants. This is necessary to the on-going life cycle of many crops. It also delivers humans with wax and honey, giving Bee the additional symbolic value of providence. Einstein believed so deeply in the importance of Bees to the ecosystem that he predicted if Bees disappeared humans would not survive more than four years afterward.

The pollination process also symbolizes our social nature. Bees live and work as a community. As they go from flower to flower, that progression enriches the world. Bee people very often become motivational speakers, teachers, healers and light workers for the greater global village. Their language of love is mindful service.

A Bee’s honeycomb represents the Heart Chakra and life’s sweetness. Bee has strong ties to the sun, light and warmth. This creature is sacred to Kama, the God of Love in Hinduism and epitomizes the Eleusinian Mysteries of Greece, honoring Demeter and Persephone.

Bee Spirit is also a strong protector, willing to give its life in defense of whatever mission prevails. Those guided by Bee find themselves defending the underdog as well as those they love with fierceness.

    Bee Spirit Animal

When Bee comes to you as a Spirit Animal Guide it’s time to take inventory regarding your responsibilities. Are you over-extended or have you perhaps become languid and apathetic? Bee won’t tolerate either extreme.

Though Bees can carry 300 times their weight and never shirk their duty to community contributions, they also “stop and smell the roses” every day.

All your hard work means nothing if you don’t get to enjoy the rewards. Likewise, when life stagnates so does your spirit.

Another message from Bee Spirit has to do with working in groups, networking and community. Bee is not a loner and calls to all of us to get off life’s benches and jump into the “tribe” with true abandon!

If you feel that you’re facing impossible odds, you could not have a better Spirit Animal wing its way into your life. Bee is the master of miracles. No matter what you face, Bee will help you find that elusive solution.

See, Bees are not aerodynamically designed to be able to fly. But they really wanted to fly and adapted so they could. Bees flap their wings so fast they can buzz around like little rockets!

Always remember, Wild Ones, where there’s a will there is a way!

    Bee Totem Animal

Those born with a Bee Totem have a real sense for managing personal energy. Your totem gives you clarity about your Path in life. Work is not a problem for you; nor is play.

The Bee’s soul-song mirrors Ecclesiastics 3: “to everything there is a season and a time to every purpose under Heaven”.

Those with Bee totems Tend toward autonomy when it comes to personal needs but are very socially focused otherwise. When they see a need there is no question of helping, particularly if it brings joy and promotes love.

Bees are amazing builders – from their hives to their intricate honeycombs. If you have chosen Bee as your Totem Animal always remember you can call on Bee Medicine when you need help with the architecture of your life and career.

    Bee Power Animal

Bee as a Power Animal appears in a variety of Shamanic traditions.

As an emblem of abundance, persistence, industry, communication, teamwork and fruitfulness, call on Bee when you need these energies in your life, or when you wish to send a message to the Divine (particularly needs focused on work and community).

Bee Spirit is very helpful when you’re working with solar magic, particularly sun Goddesses. She also supports success when it feels like you’ve reached a standstill in a project or goal.

If you need support for fertility issues, let Bee energy in. It’s amazing what anxieties can dissipate when the warmth of Bee’s sunny spirit shines on your heart!

Bee as a Celtic Animal Symbol

Throughout Celtic tradition the Bee was a protected creature. It was from Bee’s honey that people made mead, a drink that appears in Paradise as nectar of the Gods. Mead was purported to have medicinal qualities.

As in other settings Bee is also a wise spiritual messenger. When someone died the farmer was to inform the bees so that they could take the news abroad.

Superstition tells us that when a Bee dances near your window it portends a guest’s arrival, and one entering the house was a sign of good luck.

In Ireland people believe you must treat bees respectfully or they will find a new home. They are, in fact, tiny members of the family who want to be part of all the news.

    Bee Dreams

Dreams about Bees can portend of a sweet ending to a personal or community project near and dear to your heart. Bee Dreams can also foretell of improved luck, prosperity, inventiveness and a simple sense of pleasure that comes from seeing people around you happy.

    Far Eastern Bee Symbolic Meanings

In China Bee represents business advancements. In art, the Bee appearing with monkey and butterfly speaks of prosperity, and if depicted or partnered with bamboo Bee brings abundance.

Hindu tradition ties the Bee to rebirth, including among the Gods. Both Vishnu and Krishna are often shown with a Bee – Vishnu on a lotus flower and Krishna on the forehead, which also speaks of psychic energy.

imma snake on the one @Tater provided, sweet!

when I said I was a turtle before that is because someone told me that...it was a reading of sorts

not sure how to describe it, but based on what she said and what us listed for the snake its about the same, if I recall.

    Snake
    October 23 - November 22
Most shamans are born under this Native American animal symbol. The Snake is a natural in all matters of spirit. Easily attuned to the ethereal realm the Snake makes an excellent spiritual leader. Also respected for his/her healing capacities, the Snake also excels in medical professions. Snake-sign preoccupation with matters intangible often lead others to view them as mysterious, and sometimes frightening. True, the Snake can be secretive, and a bit dark - he/she is also quite sensitive, and caring. In a supportive relationship the cool Snake can be passionate, inspiring, humorous, and helpful. Left to his/her own devices, the Snake can be despondent, violent, and prone to abnormal mood swings. You might also want to read my page on Symbolic Snake Meanings here.

There is sometimes different meanings on different sites. Personally, this one doesn't seem to describe me as well as some others I have come across. I can't seem to find it now, though.
    I got bear again.

Pragmatic, and methodical the Bear is the one to call when a steady hand is needed. Bear practicality and level-headedness makes him/her an excellent business partner. Usually the voice of reason in most scenarios, the Bear is a good balance for Owls. The Bear is also gifted with an enormous heart, and a penchant for generosity. However, one might not know it as the Bear tends to be very modest, and a bit shy. In a loving environment this Native American animal symbol showers love and generosity in return. Further, the Bear has a capacity for patience and temperance, which makes him/her excellent teachers and mentors. Left to his/her own devices the bear can be skeptical, sloth, small-minded and reclusive.
